🏡 House rules – LM Apartments Mainz


Welcome – we're glad you're here! To make your stay as pleasant as possible, we ask you to follow the following rules:


⏰ Check-in / Check-out

  • Check-in: from 3:00 PM
  • Check-out: until 10:00 a.m.

Different times are only possible by prior arrangement. Please let us know your expected arrival time at least 2 days before your arrival date and send us a short text or WhatsApp message approximately 1 hour before your arrival date.

⛔ Guests who overstay their check-out time or hinder the cleaning team will be liable for any additional charges.


🛏️ Guests & Occupancy

  • The number of people booked is binding.
  • Additional overnight guests are only permitted after prior registration.
  • If the maximum number of guests is exceeded, we reserve the right to cancel the booking.
  • ❌ No children allowed – bookings by adults only. (We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee if this rule is not observed.)


🚫 Pets & Smoking

  • Pets are not allowed.
  • Assistance animals: Please contact us in advance.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment – please only on the balcony or outside.


In case of violations:

  • Fine: 300 €
  • Additionally: possible costs for special cleaning or repairs.


🎉 Behavior & Nighttime Rest

  • No parties, no excessive noise.
  • No commercial use of the accommodation (e.g. prostitution, commercial photography or video recordings).
  • Quiet hours daily from 10pm to 8am.
  • TVs, routers or technical devices may not be reprogrammed or modified.

🛑 Bookings in your own place of residence are only possible after prior arrangement.


🧹 Cleaning and final cleaning

  • The final cleaning is included in the rental price.
  • Please leave the apartment swept clean:
  • Clean and put away used dishes.
  • Dispose of waste properly (pay attention to waste separation!).
  • Place used towels on the bathroom floor.

In cases of heavy soiling (e.g. heavily soiled dishes, coarse dirt, strong odor), we charge an additional cleaning fee of €50–150, depending on the effort involved.


🔑 Keys, damages & liability

  • Loss of keys, cards or parking permits will be charged €200.
  • Guests are liable for any damage caused and must report it immediately.
  • We assume no liability for personal belongings.
  • Please close all windows when leaving the apartment to avoid weather damage.


🧺 Washing machine & Wi-Fi

  • Use of the washing machine is only possible for a fee (communal property).
  • Wi-Fi is available free of charge – but there is no guarantee of constant availability.
  • Internet use is permitted exclusively for legal purposes (no copyright infringement).


🚪 Accessibility

❌ Unfortunately, our accommodation is not wheelchair accessible. It is not suitable for people with limited mobility.


♻️ Waste separation

Please help: The waste must be separated according to the regulations of the city of Mainz into:

  • residual waste
  • Paper
  • Packaging (glass, plastic, cans, deposit)
  • Bioabfall
